WBZ

The library of the WBZ collects academic journals and provides access to the following topics: German-Polish relations, history of Germany and Poland after 1945 and the European Integration, special focus on: national and European identity, cultural stereotype, historical politics, collective memory, Holocaust, Anti Hitler Movement in Germany, Anti Communism Movement in Europe, European parliamentarianism, constitutionalisation of Europe, German ideas of European integration, current international affairs, national minorities, property and return of goods, culture and media theory.

Library materials cover the following fields: history, politics, law, public administration, economics, social psychology, culture and philosophical literature and societal communication.

Everybody interested, especially students and research assistants at the University of Wrocław are welcome to use publications. They can only be used in the reading room.

The library has a current issues of "Gazeta Wyborcza", "Polityka", "Rzeczpospolita", "Tygodnik Powszechny", "Gazeta Prawna", "Der Spiegel", "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung", "Das Parlament" and press archives for selected topics.
