Program badawczy
CSNE koncentruje się na pięciu obszarach badawczych:
1. Wizje Europy
2. Nacjonalizm i integracja europejska
3. Kultura, literatura i pamięć w relacjach polsko-niemieckich
4. Dzieje Niemiec i kontrowersje polsko-niemieckie
5. Polska i Niemcy w zjednoczonej Europie
Wokół nich koncentruje się tematyka projektów inredyscyplinarnych angażujących katedry CSNE oraz habilitacyjnych i doktorskich, które są podejmowane w placówce.
Research
The WBC initiates and does the researches in the field of Germany-Poland relations and German and European issues. Those researches are made in the interdisciplinary way within the four faculties at the WBC.
The fifth faculty for the visiting scholars has to intensify the existing projects and help to complete them. The other important aim is the cooperation and net organisation connecting similar institutes in Poland and abroad.
WBC builds and administrates the community portal www.niemcy-online.de and cyclically organizes Congresses of German Studies and contests for the best doctoral dissertation and best master's thesis in the field of German Studies. The results are published in seperate book series (the full list is available on the bookmark „publications")
