The Willy Brandt Centre for German and European Studies at Wrocław University organizes doctoral seminars in the following thematic fields:

• Visions for Europe
• Nationalism and European integration
• Culture, literature and remembrance in the Polish-German relations
• History of Germany and Polish-German controversies
• Poland and Germany in a unified Europe

The doctoral seminar takes 6 semesters and ends with an exam on the topic of the doctoral dissertation, the additional subject and a modern foreign language. 

People interested in participating in the doctoral seminar submit the following documents:

• Application for acceptation
• Personal questionnaire
• Original or certified copy of their master degree diploma
• Recommendation by their master thesis supervisor (or of another independent scientist ) about the qualification of the candidate for scientific work
• If possible, a list of publications
• The topic of the dissertation, , a draft of the thesis and a plan how to implement the project, with detailed information about the preparations already done
• Curriculum vitae
• Three photographs

Condition for acceptation is a positive result in the qualification interview (30.09.2020).
