The Willy Brandt Centre for German and European Studies at Wrocław University organizes doctoral seminars in the following thematic fields:
- Visions for Europe
- Nationalism and European integration
- Culture, literature and remembrance in the Polish-German relations
- History of Germany and Polish-German controversies
- Poland and Germany in a unified Europe
The doctoral seminar takes 6 semesters and ends with an exam on the topic of the doctoral dissertation, the additional subject and a modern foreign language.
People interested in participating in the doctoral seminar submit the following documents:
- Application for acceptation
- Personal questionnaire
- Original or certified copy of their master degree diploma
- Recommendation by their master thesis supervisor (or of another independent scientist ) about the qualification of the candidate for scientific work
- If possible, a list of publications
- The topic of the dissertation, , a draft of the thesis and a plan how to implement the project, with detailed information about the preparations already done
- Curriculum vitae
- Three photographs

Condition for acceptation is a positive result in the qualification interview (30.09.2020).
